Your impact startup in 6 months!
HOLII is an incubation program for regenerative start-up and social innovation ideas, from idea to launch. The journey differs from other incubators inasmuch as we break ground in a truly holistic sense while rooting our methods in science. While you develop a solid business case, you’ll widen perspectives on life and economy, learn core competencies, increase your self-efficacy and pro-activity, and expand your network. In this way, HOLII reduces the uncertainty of starting a business and increases commitment among founders.

We’re thrilled to offer two opportunities to co-work. In Luneburg at “Utopia”, and in Hamburg at Körber StartHub you’ll find everything you need for both focused work and community support. It goes without saying that this includes good coffee – and possibly a small recording studio and maker space.
As a HOLII start-up you receive free membership for the duration of the program.

Who do we support?
All interested start-ups from the Hamburg metropolitan region (incl. Lüneburg and Wismar) can apply for the incubation program. Primarily, associates of the affiliated organizations mentioned in the footer are admitted (students, doctoral candidates, employees, and alumna).
Requirements for an application:
- a concrete founding idea;
- the idea primarily pursues a social added value (cf. SDG’s);
- a core team exists that is already actively working on the impact idea.
HOLII supports ideas with societal added value. In our understanding, an idea with added social value aims to contribute to the SDGs positively. This positive contribution (impact) should be the primary goal of the idea implementation.
We also believe that outer change requires inner change. We’re working with the Inner Development Goals (IDG) and other approaches.
Combining proven start-up techniques, the IDG and SDG within a cyclical model or work we provide you with a solid framework to set up a holistic enterprise. By the end of the program, you’ll have developed an impact vision and impact logic, set impact goals, and learned how to measure and manage them. And you’ll have learned a great deal about yourself and your team.
Holistic also means that we look at the impact of the teams on all relevant levels along the value chain, from the legal form and the organizational design/management to the type of financing, the impact on society and the environment, to the interaction with employees, customers, and all other stakeholders.
